Confused (rant)I'm having second thoughts about graphic design. Actually, I'm having second thoughts about almost everything. I don't know what I want to do with my life, much less what I'd like to study. I mean, what they learn at GD is insanely interesting but they're not looking for people who can draw, it seems they're looking for innovative geniuses which I am not. The chances of me being successful at that interview are relatively small but I don't want to go there just so I could embarrass myself with my lack of ideas.
It's probably too late to apply for fine arts because I was stupid enough to not think about this earlier. And what annoys me the most is that everyone expects so much from me it's driving.me.insane. :c Yes, I want to pursue art as a career. No, I don't know what exactly I want to do.

my advice would be to do some informational interviews with artists who are working in the fields that you are interested. ask them how they got to where they are and what kinds of classes they took or maybe feel that you still need, ask them if there are any classes or steps that they wished they had taken, but missed for some reason.
that will help you make up your mind and maybe even put you in touch with people who may be able to help you along your path.
