Moar sketches. Yay for frilly dresses 8D
I did some character study for some people in my pirate story.  Cass's youngest sister, Aurelia; Cass's mother (the tiny headshot), then a sketch that didn't turn out (bottom of the page - don't know who that is); Aurelia as a teen; Isabelle (also a younger sister. but I for some odd reason drew her 35-ish) and then a piratey epic Cass because I had run out of ideas and decided to embarrass myself  |

And I LOVE the EPIC pirate drawing 8DDD I wish I could draw these clothes like you could! Where did you get the inspiration and the references for that kind of clothing? Yesh, I demand refs xD I wanna be able to draw a decent bloody bagh and a decent Jack together in a DECENT picture XDDDD
Absolutely love those sketches. I like that concept shading thing. I've never been good at it, when I try it always looks like crap and then I wonder how people can make it look that nice because over here it always turns out badly XD

And I'm sorry to disappoint you but the clothes are completely random. Her pirate outfit I change it every time I draw it because I can't be bothered to remember how its drawn. And I guess it makes sense because she wouldn't be wearing the same clothes all her life
The shading is actually very quick. You shouldn't spend too much time on one sketch, just to a bunch of quick ones
